autumnal equinox

This weekend marked the autumnal/fall equinox, where night and day are nearly exactly the same length – 12 hours – all over the world. As I was celebrating a friend's wedding I was also thinking what the light and weather conditions were like up in Kangiqsualujjuaq. Were they similar to Boston's? On a day when light conditions are equal how similar are our weather temperatures?
