For those people who are wondering what we are taking with us I am posting a partial list of our gear. Items appear in no particular order. This list does not detail our menu. I will share that at a later point. Also some of these items may be cut/ added depending on room in our packs and barrels as we outfit. Hope this helps anyone planning a long trip.

MUTUAL GEAR:

  1. Good luck on your journey. SOunds like a fantastic trip.
    You should look for Hubbards canoe. I talked to a guy who paddled Hubbards route years ago and found an old canoe rotting in the woods near the river. There were a few small trees growing through it. It was in the area described in the "Lure of..." book. The first edition copy has a great map of the route Hubbard took their camps labeled. He said they found many of Hubbards camps with the fire rings still there.
