I have some exciting news to share. After several rounds of color proofing and various technical adjustments the book is on press. Fireball Printing in Philadelphia, PA has started to print the first edition of The Height of Land. I've also been trading emails with the bookbinder, Allen Geiser, and everything so far is on schedule. When Allen receives the printed sheets he will begin assembling the signature folds, sowing, debossing, stamping and binding the books. Hoping to have a handful of books (100+) for my February opening at Aviary Gallery and the rest of the books sometime in mid to late February if all goes according to plan. Still scheduled to mail out the book and various Kickstarter rewards at that time. Can't wait to see the result of many months of hard work.
I also wanted to let folks know that I am in the process of relaunching my website and should have the new site online within the next week or so. If you would like to order a copy of the book you will be able to do so there. I will also have an expanded edit of the book online but if you want the book edit to remain a surprise do not visit the website, haha.
Lastly, I am crafting a new survey to fulfill print requests. I will be sending that out this week so check your email. If you haven't seen the photographs I am offering they are featured on The Lure of Labrador blog. Speaking of checking your mailbox, be on the look out for several postcards that have been mailed out by various Team Lure of Labrador members.
